HLTV announces Counter-Strike Hall of Fame

HLTV.org has announced the creation of the Counter-Strike Hall of Fame, which will feature players and coaches who are no longer competing on the CS pro scene.

A special committee will decide who will be included in the Hall of Fame, while its members will be announced in the near future, along with the first nominees and other details. The first members of the Hall of Fame will be unveiled on January 11, 2025 during HLTV Awards ceremony in Belgrade, Serbia.

Each player/coach honored with inclusion in the Hall of Fame will be awarded a special Rolex watch, as well as a unique profile on HLTV and a mention on the new Hall of Fame page. Three to five people will be added to the HLTV Hall of Fame yearly.

Yesterday HLTV revealed an updated ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. FURIA rose to eighth place, ousting Eternal Fire.
