SAW and paiN through to ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 playoffs

First playday of ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 has ended in Poland, with the first two participants of the final stage of the tournament having been determined.

In Group A, SAW defeated two opponents in a row (13:11 on Ancient against Falcons, 13:10 on Inferno against B8) and secured the first place in the bracket. In Group B, paiN became the strongest team, defeating Monte (13:9 on Vertigo) and Legacy (13:10 on Nuke).

In addition, MIBR turned out to be the first squad to get eliminated from ESL Challenger Katowice 2024. The roster lost to Monte (2:13 on Mirage, 17:19 on Anubis) and placed last in the group.

Note that the two strongest teams from each quartet will compete in the playoffs. ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 is held from October 25 to 27 in Katowice. The competition features a prize pool of $100,000. The winner will also receive a slot at ESL Pro League Season 21.
