Thunderpick World Championship 2024 viewer's guide

Another big Counter-Strike 2 tournament called Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will be held from October 21 to November 3. It will feature 16 teams competing for $850,000 in prize money.

The group stage of the event will take place in a GSL format (four groups of four squads each). The two strongest rosters from each quartet will advance to the playoffs, which will play out in a Single Elimination format. All matches of the event, except for the final, will be BO3, while the final – BO5.

Notably, only the last two days of the competition will be held in the LAN format (at the LVL Arena in Berlin, Germany); the rest of the matches will play out online.
