Vitality win BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1
Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's team won another big LAN tournament in Counter-Strike 2 – BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1. The competition was held from April 30 to May 4 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the final, Vitality bested Falcons with a scoreline of 3:2 – 9:13 on Inferno, 13:6 on Dust2, 13:6 on Train, 14:16 on Mirage, 13:8 on Nuke.
En route to the final, the squad also knocked Team Spirit out of the tournament. Falcons, in turn, prevailed over MOUZ. Both rosters took first place in their groups.
Vitality received $125,000 for first place. The runner-up earned $75,000. MOUZ and Team Spirit got $40,000 each, sharing 3rd-4th place. The total prize pool of the event amounted to $350,000.
This is the fifth title in a row for Vitality, which previously won IEM Katowice 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open 2025 Season 1, and IEM Melbourne 2025. The squad also secured $1 million for winning ESL Grand Slam Season 5.
