FURIA and HEROIC through to IEM Rio 2024 semi-finals

The rosters of Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski have entered the top four of the IEM Rio 2024 LAN tournament in Brazil.

Both squads secured first places in their groups. In the match for reaching the semi-finals of the playoff bracket, FURIA defeated NAVI (13:10 on Nuke, 13:4 on Mirage), while HEROIC bested Vitality (13:11 on Mirage, 13:5 on Anubis).

The losing teams also qualified for the final stage of the event, but to the quarter-finals, where they will face the winners of the MOUZ – FaZe and Virtus.pro – The MongolZ matchups.

Note that IEM Rio 2024 is held from October 7 to 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The prize pool of the competition is $250,000. The winner will also receive an invite to IEM Katowice 2025.
