Complexity and FaZe drop to lower bracket of group at IEM Rio 2024

The participants of Group A at IEM Rio 2024 played their openers, following which four teams dropped to the lower bracket.

In the first round, Imperial lost to NAVI, Complexity was defeated by Liquid, FaZe suffered a loss against FURIA, while paiN fell to MOUZ. All four matchups were held in a BO1 format.

The losing teams will face off today for survival at the event, while the winners advanced to the next round, where they will fight for a spot in the upper bracket final, which already guarantees a ticket to the playoffs. Subsequent matches will be BO3.
