Valve accepts PARIVISION's appeal – team will compete at RMR

Counter-Strike 2 developers allowed PARIVISION to participate in the Europe RMR for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Information about this appeared on the club's social media accounts.

Note that PARIVISION became one of the winners of the closed European qualifier for the RMR, but the organizers of the competition disqualified the squad due to the fact that during the match in the closed qualifier, coach Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov, who is restricted from participating in Valve Majors due to being banned for using a coaching bug, was in the same room with the players.

According to HLTV sources, the Russian coach filed an appeal to the Esports Ethics Commission (ESIC) several months ago, which the regulator accepted – as a result, Kochugov's punishment was reduced, due to which he can return to participating in Majors. However, ESIC did not notify Valve of their decision, which caused this situation.

Now the CS2 developers have been informed about the mitigation of F_1N's punishment, and the decision to disqualify PARIVISION from the RMR tournament has been overturned in favor of the team.
