HLTV: YaLLa Esports did not pay over one million dollars in debts
According to media reports, tournament operator YaLLa Esports owes employees, teams, partners and suppliers over one million US dollars. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.
Thus, The MongolZ and NIP – two finalists of the events from YaLLa Esports in Abu Dhabi in 2024 – confirmed that they did not receive their prize money ($200,000 and $56,000, respectively). NAVI Junior also did not receive their prize money for winning YaLLa Compass Spring 2025, while the company's debt to BetBoom Team is $65,000 for six tournaments.
The list of teams that YaLLa Esports has not paid prize money for participating in its competitions includes: Complexity, ENCE, ECLOT, Partizan, Nexus, Nemiga, 500 and GTZ. The total amount of unpaid prize money may reach 700,000 US dollars.
Note that a few days ago the tournament operator published a message that may indicate that the company has ceased to exist and will no longer hold Counter-Strike 2 events. According to HLTV, YaLLa Esports has launched bankruptcy proceedings.
