Media: G2 and Falcons agree on NiKo's transfer
According to rumors, G2's Nikola "NiKo" Kovač has agreed to join Falcons' Counter-Strike 2 roster – the parties reached an agreement today, August 26. Sheep Esports reported this, citing its own sources.
According to media reports, the transfer of the Bosnian esports athlete will take place in January 2025, and until then Kovac will continue to compete for G2. It was reported that Falcons will pay the European club from $1 million to $1.2 million in buyout for NiKo's contract. Nikola's contract with the Saudi organization will be valid for three years. The clubs have not made any official announcements yet.
It is not yet known which player Kovač will replace in the Falcons roster, but Sheep Esports sources report that it will not be Emil "Magisk" Reif. Note that Falcons wanted to buy out the Bosnian at the end of 2023, but the transfer did not take place.
