Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 roster lock date announced

Tournament operator Perfect World has officially announced the roster lock date for the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of this year.

Teams have three weeks left to make the necessary changes to their rosters – the lineups must be complete by September 7. By September 22, teams have to register sixths men.

On October 15, Valve will put together its final ranking, based on which the organizers of the Major will compile the team seeding and the RMRs schedule.

Notably, Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will be held from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The event will feature a total prize pool of $1.25 million – it will be divided among 24 rosters. Yesterday, Perfect World announced the seeding of participants at the closed European qualifiers for the RMRs.
