Rare Atom through to IEM Rio 2024

YuLun "Summer" Cai's squad won the closed Asian qualifier for the autumn Counter-Strike 2 tournament IEM Rio 2024.

In the final of the qualifier, Rare Atom defeated TYLOO with a scoreline of 2:1. ATOX and CatEvil also participated in the competition – they secured third and fourth places, respectively. The final bracket of the qualifier looks as follows:

Three more slots at IEM Rio 2024 will be featured in the regional qualifiers: two in Europe (from August 26 to 28) and one in North America (from August 31 to September 1). paiN also qualified for the event earlier.

IEM Rio 2024 will be held from October 7 to 13, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the participation of 16 rosters. Participants will compete for $250,000 in prize money. The winner will receive a ticket to IEM Katowice 2025. The list of invitees can be found via the link.
