HEROIC, Falcons, and 3DMAX Invited to IEM Rio 2024 closed qualifier

Tournament operator ESL has announced the list of teams that have received direct invites to the closed qualifier for the upcoming IEM Rio 2024 tournament.

In Europe invites went to HEROIC, Falcons, Eternal Fire, and 3DMAX. In North America, Liquid and Legacy will compete in the closed qualifier. In Asia, TYLOO, ATOX, Rare Atom, and CatEvil have received invites.

In the European qualifier, teams will compete for two tickets to the competition, while Asia and North America will fight for one ticket each. Earlier, paiN advanced to the tournament through the South American qualifier.

IEM Rio 2024 will be held from October 7 to 13, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the participation of 16 squads. The participants will compete for $250,000 in prize money. The winner will secure a ticket to IEM Katowice 2025. The list of invitees can be found via the link.
