First day of Skyesports Championship 2024 canceled due to technical issues

Skyesports Championship 2024 organizers had to cancel the first playday of the tournament due to technical problems with regular power and internet outages.

In the few hours that have passed since the start of the competition, the teams managed to play only one series in a BO1 format – The MongolZ defeated True Rippers. All other matches have been rescheduled for tomorrow, July 24.

According to Aurora's coach Stepan "brain" Sivoronov, the event may continue at the LAN center if the organizers fail to solve all technical problems.

Skyesports Masters 2024 will take place from July 23 to 28 in Mumbai, India, at the Taj Lands End venue. The competition is held in a closed format, without live audience. It features a prize pool of $300,000. The detailed information about the tournament can be found in our article.
