Johnny Speeds finds replacement for ⁠Lekr0⁠

Swedish team Johnny Speeds has found a replacement for Jonas "⁠Lekr0⁠" Olofsson, who today moved to the new team of Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács. The announcement was published on the X social media.

The vacant position on the roster was filled by GODSENT's former player Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson. William "draken" Sundin will take on the duties of IGL in the updated starting five – this role was previously occupied by Lekr0.

Over the past few months, bobeksde has competed for Johnny Speeds as a stand-in on numerous occasions. In particular, the esports athlete helped the team to win a small online tournament Dust2 Sweden POWER Masters 1, which took place on June 30. In April, he also secured first place at United21 Season 14 as part of Johnny Speeds.

Last month, Johnny Speeds won two local LAN tournaments in Sweden – Svenska Elitserien Spring 2024 in Jönköping and SubZero E-Games 2024 in Östersund. In total, the roster won a little more than $18,000 in prize money over the two events.
