Rumors: Cloud9 expresses interest in AMKAL's AWPer

Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported that North American club Cloud9 expressed interest in one of AMKAL's players – Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov.

Radvilovich told about this via his Telegram channel. Neither Cloud9 nor AMKAL have yet officially confirmed this information.

An esports athlete from Kazakhstan has been representing the Russian organization since December of last year. Before that, he spent over two years at AVANGAR. Over the past three months, Faiznurov recorded an average rating of 1.16.

Earlier, rumors surfaced on the web that OG's Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko would become one of the new players on Cloud9's Counter-Strike 2 roster. According to insiders, the club paid several hundred thousand dollars for Martynenko's transfer.

Note that Cloud9 is rebuilding its roster after Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, Abay "HObbit" Khadsenov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy departed the team in April. The club expects to form a new squad around the two remaining Cloud9 players, namely Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov and Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov.
