cadiaN departs Liquid's starting five

European club Liquid has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster – the organization benched the team's IGL and AWPer Casper "cadiaN" Møller.

According to the official announcement published on the X social media, team's unsatisfactory results became the reason for this decision. It is still unknown who will fill the vacant position on the squad.

The Danish esports athlete has represented Liquid since December of last year. With him, the roster was unable to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 and Esports World Cup 2024. Liquid also placed 7th-8th at IEM Dallas 2024, secured second place at CCT Global Finals 2024 and entered top 8 at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Earlier, rumors surfaced on the web that another player would part ways with Liquid, namely Felipe "skullz" Medeiros. According to the media reports, the Brazilian esports athlete will move to FURIA.

Liquid's current lineup looks as follows:

 Keith "NAF" Markovic
 Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis
 Felipe "skullz" Medeiros
 Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

 Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)

 Casper "cadiaN" Møller (benched)
