Rumors: Vitality may replace mezii

According to rumors, Briton William "mezii" Merriman may soon depart Vitality's active Counter-Strike 2 roster. This was reported by insider, streamer and GenOne's owner Sebastien "KRL" Perez.

According to KRL, the French club is considering two candidates to replace mezii, namely Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. The former has been on Cloud9's bench since April of this year, while the latter has been competing for Liquid for the last six months. The organization itself has not yet confirmed these rumors.

Vitality placed second at IEM Dallas 2024 and ESL Pro League Season 19. The team also entered the top 4 at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024. Next week, Vitality are competing at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 in London.
