Organizer of brawl at Major announces new protests against G2

The organizer of yesterday's PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 arena storm announced similar protests in subsequent G2 matches, including during the semi-final match today, March 30. The statement was made during a stream on the Twitch channel of the owner of the gambling site CSGOEmpire, known as Monarch.

According to Monarch, "his men in camouflage" will pursue G2 until the club ceases its cooperation with CSGORoll, CSGOEmpire's rival site, which is accused of fraud. Previously, he also admitted that he had been planning a demonstration with handcuffing G2's Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov in order to attract attention to this protest.

Note that yesterday, during the G2 – MOUZ match, unknown people tried to storm the stage. Live broadcast captured how a group of audience members broke through to the gaming booths but were stopped by the tournament security guards.

It later turned out that the violators were activists who, from the first days of the playoffs, had been protesting against G2's cooperation with CSGORoll. The detained people were handed over to the police for investigation.

In order to ensure safety for the remaining two days of PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, the organizers will reinforce security around the arena and limit the initially planned meetings between players and fans.
