Unknown people storm PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 arena during G2 – MOUZ match
During the G2 – MOUZ match at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, unknown people tried to storm the stage. Live broadcast captured how a group of audience members broke through to the gaming booths but were stopped by the security guards.
Later it turned out that the violators were activists who, from the first days of the playoffs, had been protesting against the cooperation of the G2 club with the CSGORoll gambling site. The protest with the storming of the arena was organized with the support of the competitor site CSGOEmpire, which was confirmed by the latter's owner.
Note that during the brawl, the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 trophy was damaged. A representative of the organizers assured that the cup will be restored by the end of the Major.
Reportedly, the offenders have been arrested by the police. In turn, the G2 – MOUZ match was resumed after almost a half-hour delay.
