Cloud9 climb to seventh place in HLTV ranking

Over the past week, Cloud9 continued to rise in the ranking of the world's best teams according to HLTV. Last Monday, the Russian team climbed to No. 9, and now it has moved up two positions, overtaking Virtus.pro and Falcons.

Also in the top ten of the ranking, HEROIC was replaced by ENCE. At the same time, Eternal Fire and FURIA approached the number of world leaders.

The greatest progress in the updated list was shown by paiN and ECSTATIC, which managed to give battle to higher-rated teams at the ongoing PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, while Liquid received a disastrous rating, dropping out of the top 30.

HLTV's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
