Snax secures first place by number of maps played on pro scene

Polish esports athlete Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, who is currently the IGL of GamerLegion, became a leader by total maps played on the pro scene. This is supported by statistics from HLTV.org.

Pogorzelski gained the leadership status after playing matches at IEM Katowice 2024 yesterday, February 2. With 2,414 maps on his record, he ousted Timo "Spiidi" Richter, who some time ago marginally overtook Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov, but stopped on the result of 2,413 maps, having retired as a player at the end of 2023.

At the moment, the top 5 by the number of maps played on the pro scene also includes Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, who has recently started his career as a coach and is unlikely to significantly improve his record, and Jesper "JW" Wecksell, who competes for his own club EYEBALLERS.

Note that the leader in terms of the number of maps played at LAN tournaments is still FaZe's IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen with 1,250 maps played. Over 100 maps behind his result are Dan "apEX" Madesclaire (1,115), Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth (1,112) and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen (1,109).
