Team Spirit, Virtus.pro and Eternal Fire off to successful start at IEM Katowice 2024

First matches of the IEM Katowice 2024 Play-In stage have played out. Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, and Eternal Fire started the tournament successfully, crashing their opponents in Apeks, Rooster and BetBoom, respectively.

Along with the aforementioned teams, Rebels, Heroic, BIG, TheMongolz and GamerLegion secured victories in their opening matches. They bested Cloud9, Astralis, ENCE, FURIA and M80, respectively.

The first playday at IEM Katowice 2024 will end with two matches for the group stage tickets: Heroic will face BIG, while Eternal Fire will compete against Rebels. These matches will play out in a best-of-three format.
