BLEED's participation in open qualifier for RMR denied due to slot restrictions
BLEED, along with several other teams, won't be able to participate in the third open qualifier for the Europe RMR due to the organizers' decision. BLEED's coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović announced this via his Twitter account.
According to him, the organizers of the competition decided to limit the number of participants to 1024 and did not seed rosters that were not included in this number.
I don't understand how open qualifiers have a limit on the number of teams signing up? Would love to hear the answer to this. Just to make it clear to people, we did check in on time, just not in the first 1024 teams. Technically we did things right but didn't get seeded. There should be no cap on the open qualifier, that's why it's called open.
The third out of four open qualifiers takes place from January 12 to 13. Like at other tournaments of this stage of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 qualifying cycle, participants will compete for four tickets to the closed qualifier.
