North America receives eight spots at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 RMR

North America received eight spots at the Americas RMR, which is the last qualifying stage for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024. This was reported by Dust2.us journalists after looking through an updated rulebook from PGL.

Initially, North American teams could count on seven out of the sixteen berths at the RMR tournament, which followed from the rosters' positions in the Valve ranking. Now the organizers have changed the rules, having evenly distributing invites between the two subregions. However, Dust2.us was unable to obtain additional clarification from PGL.

Ultimately, North America and South America will receive eight spots rosters, including the invite issued to FURIA. Note that the Brazilian roster received a direct invite due to getting into the top 16 at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Americas RMR will take place from March 1 to 4 in Monterrey, Mexico. At the qualifier, sixteen teams will compete for five tickets to the Copenhagen Major, which will take place later that month.
