Xizt to step down as Heroic coach

Norwegian club Heroic announced via its Twitter account that it will soon part ways with coach Richard "Xizt" Landström. The Swedish coach will depart the team after BLAST Premier World Final 2023.

According to Xizt, this decision was agreed upon by both parties. At the same time, the Swede expressed his intention to continue his career as a coach.

Landström took over Heroic at the end of 2021. Under his guidance, the roster won Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 and BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023, reached the final of IEM Rio Major 2022, and also made it to the semi-finals of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

BLAST Premier World Final 2023 will take place from December 13 to 17. Heroic is expected to undergo a serious restructuring right after the tournament, since only René "TeSeS" Madsen and Rasmus "sjuush⁠" Beck will retain their positions on the roster.
