CS2's average player count in October dropped by 184,000

According to the analytical service Steam Charts, Counter-Strike 2's average player count in October decreased by 184,013 users,which is 18.85% less compared to the previous month.

In October, the player count was the lowest since January 2023, when it reached 726,150 users. At the same time, the game peaked at 1,364,902 concurrent players last month.

Notably, the official release of CS2 took place on September 27. Starting from October, the Steam Charts service takes into account only the player count of the shooter's new version.
