Heroic drop to No. 67 in HLTV.org ranking after benching stavn and jabbi
Heroic dropped out of the top 30 in the ranking of the world's strongest teams according to HLTV.org. This was caused by the removal of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard from the starting five, which left the Danes with three players on the roster.
Heroic's drop in the ranking insignificantly improved the position of other teams. In particular, Complexity, Monte, Astralis, and GamerLegion secured a place in the top 10, while Virtus.pro, BIG and Apeks showed some progress outside the top ten.
Notably, besides Heroic, NIP lost their position in the ranking as a result of a reshuffle. The Ninjas benched Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Hampus "hampus" Poser. They also brought back Patrick "es3tag" Hansen from inactivity, which led to the loss of six positions.
Compared to last week, Lynn Vision dropped out of the top 30 of the world ranking together with Heroic. In turn, the French from Looking4Org and the Russians from Aurora climbed into the top thirty.
HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
