zonic officially departs Vitality

Danish coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen has parted ways with Vitality. The club published a corresponding press release via its social media accounts.

Vitality announced the coach’s departure a week after zonic confirmed rumors of him moving to Falcons on November 1. Together with the Dane, psychologist Lars Robl will move from Vitality to the Saudi club.

Sørensen had been coaching Vitality's roster since early 2021, when for the first time in its history the club assembled a roster, which uses English for communication on the server. Since then, the team has won several big tournaments, the most prestigious of which was BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

Vitality announced zonic's departure several days ahead of IEM Sydney 2023, which will take place from October 16 to 22. It is expected that Mathieu "MaT" Leber, who was Sørensen's assistant, will be standing behind the players at the tournament.

Earlier, insiders shared information about the possible return of Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam to Vitality. The French coach has already departed TSM, with which he had been working since the summer of this year.
