GamerLegion women's roster member departs team amid cheating allegations

GamerLegion women's roster member Luna "ManeschijnX" Akkermans has decided to depart the team amid cheating allegations. She announced this via her Twitter account.

ManeschijnX said that her departure from GL Prism was caused by "recent events". She is currently cooperating with ESL and FACEIT in their investigation.

Earlier, social media posts surfaced linking ManeschijnX to several accounts banned for cheating. At the same time, former esports athlete Esmeevee claims that GL Prism's former player is a man who received bans while competing under the nickname Bentas, and then decided to transition to the women's pro scene to hide his cheating.

Notably, this is not the first scandal associated with the GamerLegion women’s roster, which was announced a few days prior. The club previously decided to part ways with Chloe "KittyTM" Geaney because of her racist comments.

 GL Prism's current lineup is:

 Héjja "kezziwow" Kászandrá
 Yoana "Joanana" Vlaykova
 Melissa "meli" Aylin

 Jetmir "mdm" Bediu (coach)
