Postponed LAN tournament Hussar Cup 2023 will take place in November

Polish LAN tournament Hussar Cup 2023, which was scheduled for early September, but did not take place due to the refusal of several invitees, has been postponed till November 8-12. The organizers of the event announced this via their social media accounts.

The city of Poznan was chosen as the new venue for the tournament, while it was originally planned to run it at the Szlowski stadium in Chorzow. At the same time, the size of the prize pool was changed, as instead of $1 million, almost half as much will be up for grabs, namely $600 thousand.

The organizers have also revealed the first six invitees. Apeks, 9INE, GamerLegion, Monte, MIBR and BIG confirmed their participation.

Notably, the Hussar Cup 2023 organizers were unable to avoid scheduling conflicts with other big tournaments. Such famous teams as Astralis, ENCE, FaZe, G2, MOUZ, and NIP, which will compete at CS:GO Asia Championships 2023, as well as Virtus.pro, fnatic and Imperial, which will participate in FiReLEAGUE 2023 Global Finals, will definitely not go to Poznan.
