Team Sweden secures IESF World Championship 2023 title

Team Sweden team won IESF World Championship 2023, which took place from August 26 to September 3 in Iasi, Romania. In the final of the event, the roster outplayed the German team with a scoreline of 2:0 – 19:17 on Mirage and 16:9 on Inferno.

In the group stage, Team Sweden secured five victories, defeating rosters from Mauritius, Guatemala, Australia, Poland and Belgium. Having advanced to the quarter-finals, the team also bested rosters from Romania and Serbia.

1.  Team Sweden – $50,000
2.  Team Germany – $30,000
3.  Team Serbia – $20,000

Notably, World Championship among women's teams took place at the same time. A team from the Netherlands won the event.
