BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 viewer's guide

Next big Counter-Strike 2 tournament, BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2, kicks off on August 5. The first part of the competition will be held online from August 5 to 10. The LAN final is scheduled for August 14-17. The format for both stages is Single Elimination BO3.

A distinctive feature of the BLAST Bounty series events is the bounty for each team, assigned by the organizers according to the seeding in the bracket. The winner will take half of the defeated opponent's bounty; the remaining 50% will be carried over to the next match as the winner's bounty.

MOUZ, The MongolZ, Vitality, and Team Spirit are in the category with the highest starting reward – $60,000; they are followed by Aurora, FaZe, NAVI, and FURIA ($30,000); the next are G2, HEROIC, Virtus.pro and Astralis ($20,000) while Liquid, B8, Legacy and MIBR ($15,000). The remaining squads were defined as outsiders without a bonus – they took turns choosing their opponents in the first round.

In total, 32 teams will participate in the first stage of the competition – they were invited directly based on Valve's ranking. The eight strongest rosters will go to the LAN final, which will play out in Malta. The prize pool for the LAN final will amount to $500,000.
