GUILD to sign male Counter-Strike 2 roster
British organization GUILD announced its intention to sign a male CS2 roster. The club, co-owned by famous ex-football player David Beckham, shared a corresponding press release with Esports News.uk.
Reportedly, the organization is impressed with the future of the pro scene and the upcoming transition away from the franchised leagues. Furthermore, GUILD has successfully secured sponsors for its men's team. Among others, the British Esports Federation will finance the roster.
The club has promised to reveal the five players and coaching staff in the near future. GUILD also believes that now is the best time to capitalize on the growing audience engagement and the reduction of entry barriers.
Notably, earlier this spring, GUILD introduced a female CS:GO roster, featuring OUTCATS' former players.
