apEX assures that he is not going to retire

Vitality's IGL Dan "apEX" Madesclaire in an interview with Fragster told that he has no intention of retiring yet. The Frenchman also noted that he could take a break, but had not yet thought about it.

No, don’t worry. I turned 30 this year and I’m just slowly noticing that I’m getting older. But if you look around in the scene, there are other older players like Karrigan who are still playing. We’ll see when I make the decision, but when the time comes, I’m definitely going to take a year off from the scene and detox digitally, that’s for sure.

Madesclaire has been competing on the pro scene since 2009. For the last four and a half years, the Frenchman has been a part of Vitality, with which he won ECS Season 7 Finals, BLAST Premier Fall 2020 and BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
