BIG bench faveN

German player Josef "faveN" Baumann took it to Twitter to announce that he is going inactive. The esports athlete explained his decision by the recent birth of a child and the need to devote more time to his family.

faveN joined BIG at the end of 2021. Together with the team, the German player won Roobet Cup 2022, secured third place at Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, and also reached the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 final.

Earlier information appeared on the Internet that BIG may sign Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski as an AWPer, replacing Marcel "hyped" Köhn. In turn, the organization has not yet unveiled who will replace Baumann in the starting five.

The nearest tournament for the German team is BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, which will play out online from July 13 to 23.

 BIG's current lineup is:

 Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
 Nils "k1to" Gruhne
 Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
 Marcel "hyped" Köhn

 Fatih "gob b" Dayik (coach)

 Josef "faveN" Baumann (inactive)
