Heroic rise to No.1 in HLTV.org ranking

Danish roster Heroic moved up two places to No.1 in the HLTV.org ranking. Despite losing to Vitality in the IEM Rio 2023 final, Casper "cadiaN" Møller's squad scored enough points to oust FaZe and G2.

In turn, Vitality climbed to second place, 31 points behind the Danes. NAVI, which also managed to oust the previous ranking leaders, close the top three.

After reaching the playoffs on home soil, the Brazilians from FURIA entered the top 10, occupying 8th place. BIG have also made significant progress, as the German team now occupies 11th place. OG and NIP returned their positions, rising to No.13 and No.14, respectively.

HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
