Vitality kick off Intel Grand Slam Season 5

IEM Rio 2023 title made Vitality the absolute leader in Intel Grand Slam Season 5 race for $1 million gold bar. Currently, Dana "apEX" Madesclaire's roster is the closest to securing the prestigious award.

In order to win the fifth season, a team needs to win three ESL Pro Tour series events, as well as one big IEM tournament in Katowice or Cologne (or a Major organized by ESL) in ten consecutive tournaments.

The results and schedule of upcoming Intel Grand Slam Season 5 tournaments are:

IEM Rio 2023 –  Vitality
IEM Dallas 2023 – May 29-June 4
IEM Cologne 2023 – July 25-August 6
ESL Pro League Season 18 – August 30-October 1
IEM Fall 2023 – October 16-22

Earlier, tournament operator ESL officially announced that Intel Grand Slam Season 5 will kick off in CS:GO and continue after the transition to Counter-Strike 2. Other award winners are Astralis, Liquid, NAVI and FaZe, who won IGS in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023 respectively.
