Jame on RMR failure: "That's the price we paid for the wrong decisions"

Virtus.pro IGL Dzhami "Jame" Ali commented via his Telegram channel on the team's failure in the Europe RMR, outlining a set of factors that played a role in the final result.

A few words on our performance. We failed. We burned out during the season, did not have time to relax on New Year holidays, and we practiced everything with a new player. In the end, everything fell apart due to the pressure of the Major, as it usually happens with everyone. Many factors had an impact, the main ones being the chemistry between the players, accumulated fatigue and lacking experience in situations. You have no idea bad and insulted we feel because everything turned out this way, considering all the time and effort we put into performing at our best at the Major.

Relegation from the Major qualifier is the price we paid for the wrong decisions. Experience has been gained, conclusions have been drawn, we must move on. Now the plan is to understand what awaits us next, to restore strength and start training.

Virtus.pro have been eliminated from the Europe RMR. At the qualifier, the roster secured a victory over SAW, and suffered losses from B8, Into The Breach and MOUZ.

The team also withdrew from the upcoming IEM Rio 2023, citing poor preparation as a reason. Imperial took Virtus.pro's spot at the tournament.
