Nouns owners vote to keep the club

Dust2.us reported that American organization Nouns remains in esports until 2024, as the club's NFT owners held an open voting, by which they decided to continue funding the rosters.

At the beginning of the month, information about the need for significant cash injections to sustain the club's operations appeared on the Internet. At the time, Nouns esports projects needed $795,000, which would be sufficient for funding their operations until the end of the year. To do this, the organization had to hold an open voting and reach the required threshold of 15%, depending on the number of votes against the proposal.

Early in the morning, April 12, NFT owners held a voting, in which they decided by 190 votes to continue funding the organization, having reached the required threshold.

In the report, Nouns also shared their plans on funding the CS:GO roster. In particular, the club will avoid cooperation with bookmakers, preferring their own projects as advertisements on esports merchandise. At the same time, some of them have already been implemented at the recent BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Americas RMR.

Moreover, Nouns will be able to cover the salaries for all players, coaches and team managers for the next ten months, before their contracts expire.
