Basketball club Partizan disbands CS:GO lineup due to financial problems

Serbian basketball club Partizan announced via its official website the closure of the CS:GO division due to funding problems.

Partizan in a press release drew attention to the instability of the esports scene, which over the past few months has led to the suspension of a number of other projects. The lack of esports recognition from the Serbian authorities, which does not allow receiving state funding, was also in the way of the team's development.

Partizan assembled a CS:GO roster in August 2022. The Balkan roster led by Luka "emi" Vuković competed mainly at the tier 2 scene without achieving any results.

After the closure of the project, all Partizan players were put up for transfer and received the club's permission to look for new homes independently. At the same time, the roster will continue to compete together for some time to complete their current tournaments.

Partizan were:

 Luka "emi" Vuković
 Luka "c0llins" Živanović
 Marin "ROGA" Rogić
 Kalin "KalubeR" Erenditsov
 Viktor "Duplicate" Mitev
