chopper criticized invites issuance to BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 qualifiers

Team Spirit's IGL Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov criticized via his Twitter account the tournament operator Relog, which runs RES Eastern European Masters Spring 2023, the Eastern European qualifier for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023. He considers it unfair that the Dragons did not receive a direct invite, while lower rated teams did.

Hello everyone, unfortunately we came across a very strange situation in preparation for the Blast Spring Qualifier. As you might or might not know, the organisation doing the qualifier is Relog (RES), and recently they sent out invites. It turned out that we weren’t invited, despite being outranked only by Cloud9 (everyone else is ranked below us). When our manager asked Relog admin about the situation, his reply was simply that they decided to invite other teams. No disrespect to them at all, but the TO is denying us a chance to qualify for one of the most important tournaments in spring because of… what exactly? I have only one question in this situation, for BLAST: is it an okay thing to do?

Cloud9, Aurora and Bad News Eagles received direct invites to RES Eastern European Masters Spring 2023. Five winners of open qualifiers also joined the tournament. The competition, which will determine one participant of BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023, will be held from March 10-12.
