Bad News Eagles secure CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1 first grand final spot

The opening day of the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1 playoffs saw Bad News Eagles become the first finalist of the tournament. The team from Kosovo progressed to the decisive match after securing two consecutive wins in the upper bracket.

The Kosovars started the playoffs with a victory over Movistar Riders (16:8 on Overpass and 16:10 on Ancient), moving on to defeat Eternal Fire in the upper bracket final (14:16 on Mirage, 16:14 on Anubis and 16:12 on Inferno).

The elimination match also played out, where Movistar Riders took on ENCE, who lost to Eternal Fire in the upper bracket semifinal. The Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer-led side emerged victorious (16:14 on Inferno, 4:16 on Mirage and 16:7 on Nuke).

The champion of CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1 will be known on the evening of February 19. At 17:00 MSK, ENCE and Eternal Fire will face off to determine Bad News Eagles' opponent in the title decider, while the grand final is scheduled to begin at 21:30 MSK.
