gade retires from CS:GO
Danish player Nicklas "gade" Gade has announced on Twitter his retirement from professional play.
In his message, the 28-year-old Gade thanked former teams and teammates and noted that in 2023 he will start working in a "whole new environment" not related to esports.
gade made his debut in the CS:GO pro scene in 2016. Throughout his career, he has represented such teams as Singularity, OpTic, North, where he also played for the academy roster, and BIG.
The Dane is best known for his time in North, with whom he attended two Majors, took part in a number of other big events and also won DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019.
Gade's last team was BIG, which he left at the end of last year amid poor results. Subsequently, the player was on trial in Apeks but could not gain a foothold in the roster.
