Sprout part ways with slaxz-

Sprout have parted ways with AWPer Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich, the German club announced on social media.

slaxz has represented Sprout for the past two years. During this time, the team showed up mainly at tier-2 events, achieving its biggest success in the fall of this year after a successful run at the European RMR tournament, which saw the squad enter the top 20 of the world ranking for several weeks.

The parting with slaxz- marked the first change in Sprout's starting lineup since the summer, when the club signed Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss as part of a major reshuffle. The team has more than a month to find a new player, as its next tournament will be IEM Katowice 2023, which is scheduled to start on January 31 with the Play-In.
