s1mple: "NAVI are like from top 5 to top 10 right now. We could play much much better"

Giving an interview to the organizers of BLAST Premier World Final 2022, NAVI's AWPer Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev assessed his team's chances of winning the competition. After reaching the playoffs of the ongoing tournament, he noted that Natus Vincere are able to clinch the trophy, but it will not be easy, since at present his squad is not a clear favorite.

I think we can win this tournament. I mean, NAVI is a team known for getting better during a tournament. But, of course, it's going to be hard with all those teams, but still. I think we're like from top 5 to top 10 right now. We could play much much better, I know this.

s1mple also spoke about the performance of npl, a newcomer to NAVI. According to him, the 17-year-old Ukrainian shows a more confident game in practices.

A huge amount of work to do again. For example, on practice, the way that npl played, he played much better. Here he had some nerves, but still he did a really great job. Finally, we can congratulate him on the first victory.

NAVI advanced to the BLAST Premier World Final 2022 playoffs after a victory over Heroic. In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian club's roster will face Liquid.
