BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 to be played on pre-update CS:GO version

The current CS:GO patch released on the night of November 19 will not be used at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, the tournament operator's Chief Innovation Officer Nicolas Estrup stated in a comment to HLTV.org.

In the latest update, Valve replaced Dust2 with Anubis on the competitive map pool, reduced the number of bullets in the AWP magazine from ten to five, and also nerfed the M4A1-S rifle.

BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022 is scheduled to be held from November 23 to 27 in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The $425,000 tournament will feature the following eight teams: FaZe, OG, Heroic, NIP, NAVI, Fluxo, Liquid and G2.

It is worth noting that until the end of this year, there is only one event on the calendar of big competitions, which is BLAST Premier World Final 2022. BLAST's CIO did not specify whether the current CS:GO version will be used at this championship or matches on the new patch among tier 1 teams will take place no earlier than 2023.
