NiKo: "Even if they nerf the M4A1-S, the game would still be very CT-sided"

G2 player Nikola "NiKo" Kovač shared his opinion on the current balance between the T and CT sides in CS:GO on a live stream on his Twitch channel. He believes that even with the deterioration of the M4A1-S characteristics, it will be much easier to play on the defense than on the attacking side.

Even if they nerf the M4A1-S, it wouldn't change anything, the game would still be very CT-sided. Everyone figure out how to play CT and that's why it's so strong. The only thing maybe that helps the CT side more is maybe economy. The M4A1-S is a bit cheaper than the M4A4 but honestly it would be almost the same. What I think they should do, I think they should remove dropping nades, for example. I don't like that change and I never did. I feel like if they make the M4A1-S the same price as the M4A4, most people would change to M4A4. These $200, they actually mean a lot, especially at the start of the half or when you get money reset.

Earlier, Abay "HObbit" Khasenov from Cloud9 also spoke about the problem of balance between the defense and the attack. The Kazakhstani believes that the key advantage of the CT side is the M4A1-S allowing to deal big damage and go unnoticed due to the silencer.
