gla1ve on practicing with device: "He’s been really good"

Astralis' in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander assessed the current form of his team's AWPer Nicolai "device" Reedtz in an interview with the club's press service. The Dane noted that his teammate does well in practices but still experiences some problems associated with a long period without competitive practice.

He’s been really good. We’ve played with him in practice for some time. We wanted to see if he was still good, and he has been playing really well. We wanted him to play, and I also think he’s holding back a bit because he has been out for nine months. You need a slow start, especially with all the traveling we do.

device returned to Astralis in October of this year when the club bought him out from NIP. Before joining the team, the sniper was out of competition for nine months, which was caused by the esports athlete's psychological issues.

Reedtz's first tournament after returning to Astralis was expected to be Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, but the Dane will miss this championship. The organization's management explained this decision by the need to give the player extra time for practice.
