device to miss first tournament after returning to Astralis

Astralis player Nicolai "device" Reedtz will not show up at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, which was supposed to be his first championship after returning to the Danish club. According to the organization's press release, Kristoffer "Kristou" Aamand from Astralis Talent will stand in for the star AWPer.

Astralis Director of Sports Kasper Hvidt explained that the replacement was made in order not to force device's preparation and to make sure that after a long period of being inactive, the sniper will return to official matches in his best shape.

Thus, at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, the Danes will be represented by a roster with two players from their own academy team. Besides Kristou, the team also submitted Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen, who joined the squad in September following Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke's departure.

As of now, Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 is the only confirmed tournament on Astralis' calendar until the end of the year. The competition featuring twelve teams and a prize pool of $250,000 will be held on November 16-20 in Finland.

Astralis will field the following roster for Elisa Masters Espoo 2022:

 Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
 Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
 Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
 Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen (stand-in)
 Kristoffer "Kristou" Aamand (stand-in)
