Team Spirit, G2, Heroic, NIP and OG players to attend Red Bull Flick 2022 2v2 tournament

Representatives of Team Spirit, G2, Heroic, NIP and OG, all of which are among the top 15 teams in the world ranking, will take part in the exhibition tournament Red Bull Flick Invitational 2022, where they will compete in a 2v2 format with other esports athletes and duets of amateur players. The €50,000 competition will be held on LAN in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, on November 19-20.

Besides the players from the aforementioned teams, three other duets of professionals will show up at the event, namely members of the Copenhagen Flames roster, as well as women from BIG and FURIA's female lineups. The participants will play on specifically prepared maps in a "Hold the Flag" format.

It is worth noting that FURIA fielded a mixed roster, where André "drop" Abreu will play alongside a member of the women's team, while NIP will be represented by the Danes Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and the club's COO Jonas "calc" Gundersen.

Team Spirit are the reigning champions of the Red Bull Flick Invitational. A year ago, the title was secured by Boris "magixx" Vorobiev and Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev.
